Ben Bradic played by Dustin Hoffmin was the main character who seemed to have lost goals post graduation. His affairs with Mrs. Robbinson cause mass conflict for his age appropriate lover, Mrs. Robbinson’s daughter, Ellian Robbinson. The movie displayed the rebel side of the youth at the time, it was the 70’s and the kids of that era who were around Ben’s age had similar problems, they couldn’t decide what to do after they obtained their education. Throughout the movie, Ben seemed to be basing all his actions off of impulse. He ran off and decided to marry Ellain, meanwhile she was in the act of getting married.So he crashed the wedding and ran off with Ellain. I would recommend this movie to anyone with a misunderstood future.
